EFCNY provides one-on-one, small and large group mentoring and coaching in Executive Function skill acquisition. We offer EF Intensives for students, with sessions available during the day, in the evenings, and on weekends either in students’ homes or at one of our Manhattan locations. Remote sessions, facilitated by digital mentoring technologies such as Zoom, FaceTime and Skype, are also possible.
EFCNY is not a school and do not offer credit or degrees. We are an individualized, one-on-one and small group mentoring organization that works to help people acquire Executive Function skills for success in school, work, relationships and life in general.
EFCNY is a learning organization focused on helping students to acquire Executive Function skills. We do not offer clinical, medical or therapeutic services of any kind. While several members of our Faculty and Leadership Advisory have training in medicine, psychology or related therapeutic fields, they do not provide clinical or therapeutic services as part of their work at EFCNY.
If your child has any learning or emotional issues beyond the Executive Function domain, we will not be in any way attempting to remediate them at EFCNY. If such additional issues negatively impact EFCNY’s work on Executive Functions, it may not be appropriate for them to continue working with EFCNY.
We do not. Neither EFCNY nor its mentors/advisors offer clinical or therapeutic services in their work with students and families in our programs.
We work with students in their homes, in person at our Manhattan based headquarters, and in the future, satellite locations; long-distance via technologies such as Zoom, FaceTime and Skype; and, by arrangement, in person wherever in the world they may be.
EFCNY programs are offered throughout the year, with individualized programs available during the day, in the evenings, and on weekends.
